Using the button or the remote, the door opens only about one inch and then stops. Pushing the button again closes the door and then the next push opens it completely. This is very intermittant, about 1 in 10 times and only is a problem when opening the door. Closing does not have this problem. I have two garage doors with Vemco by Stanley openers, and they both have the same problem. The openers are 11 years old and this problem started about 10 years ago and has not gotten any worse. I don't have to fix it, but it is annoying.
